RAG RUG WORKSHOP or HOW TO BE A TIGHT HOOKER

photo courtesy Twinkie Chan

About a month ago, I went to a workshop with Miriam Williams Keyes. She is a mama and crafter extraordinaire. The course was a Rag Rug Workshop. The process is simple, simpler if you already know how to crochet.

I am not going to give away all of Miriam's secrets because you have to take the workshop. BUT materials required include:

* 3 large sheets. Each sheet will be ripped into one continuous rag.
* One crochet hook

1. Simply start with 6 slipknots and then begin to crochet into the first slipknot.
2. Continue, continue and continue until done. Alternate colours by cutting and knotting the sheet strips together.

Obviously there is a lot more to it, but if you are interested come take a class with me in Perth.
